Longfield Chemicals Ltd was founded in 1968 by the current Managing Director, Ian Brian. Mr. Brian had previously been employed as Export Sales Manager for PVC stabiliser company Pure Chemicals.
In 1980 Mr. William Rushton joined Longfield Chemicals as technical director. Mr. Rushton was formerly employed as Technical and Marketing Manager for BICC.
Mark Pepper, the Finance Director, and Sales Manager Stuart Forsyth have joined the company in recent years to complete the management team.

In the last few decades Longfield Chemicals has diversified into the supply of other polymers.This has resulted in the Longfield product range incorporating everything from regrinds and reprocessed materials, through to prime virgin resins and compounds in various grades of polymers.

During the last 4 decades, Longfield Chemicals Standard Stocked Products has increased ten fold. Longfield Chemicals is primarily known for supplying quality PVC Compounds, Resins and Additives, however, the last ten years has seen strong and lasting partnerships being forged with key suppliers of Prime Polyolefins. Over the last couple of years, the sales team at Longfield Chemicals has been strengthened, which has enabled Longfield Chemicals to increase their market share of PVC compounds & resins, Polyethylene and Polypropylene.
